I completed my Masters Degree at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, with
a music composition emphasis. While there I studied with Vinny Golia, Christian Wolff,
Morton Subotnick, the late James Tenney and the late Stephen Lucky Mosko.
I like to engage students with creative opportunities to explore their inner artist while
maintaining discipline and consistent/expressive practice habits. I received my
BA in Commercial Music from Cal Poly Pomona, studied guitar with Peter Yates
and the late Ronald Muldrow, composition with David Kopplin.
